Opportunity
We are seeking a business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate headquarters finance team and serve as a key financial partner to Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Inventory Management. This highly visible role will focus on inventory performance, working capital optimization, supply chain costs, and operational financial analysis.
As part of a lean FP&A team, you will work directly with leadership to provide financial insights that improve inventory efficiency, support forecasting accuracy, and drive profitability across the organization. This position offers significant exposure to senior management and the opportunity to influence strategic and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inventory reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities across the business.
- Monitor inventory levels, turns, aging, excess and obsolete inventory, and working capital performance.
- Analyze inventory valuation, reserves, and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Planning teams to support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Develop forecasts and financial models related to inventory investments, purchasing activity, and supply chain costs.
- Perform monthly variance analysis for inventory balances, freight, warehousing, procurement, and related operational expenses.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Analyze key supply chain KPIs, including inventory turns, days inventory on hand (DIOH), fill rates, forecast accuracy, and service levels.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages and dashboards highlighting inventory and supply chain performance.
- Partner with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
- Support capital planning, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, inventory finance, supply chain finance, or related accounting roles.
- Experience supporting inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or operations functions preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models and analyzing large datasets.
- Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to operational leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience with inventory costing methodologies and inventory reserve analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent systems.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
Salary Range: $110,000-120,000 base salary plus annual bonus. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters and requires onsite attendance five days per week.
